This late October wedding at Fangar in Mallorca was absolutely stunning. It felt very different, I’d just returned from a camping holiday on the mainland and it was to be my last wedding of the season and it felt autumnal but in the best way. There were golden leaves on the ground that crunched underfoot – and let’s not get carried away – autumn in Mallorca is still very much no jacket no jumper weather! Perhaps just a light long sleeve!

The couple were so cool and I loved their song choices. I played for them in the ceremony on acoustic guitar and the drinks reception on piano. Their requested songs included very interestingly ‘Rather Be’ by Clean Bandit which I really enjoyed working out a special acoustic version of. It was really beautiful when they walked up the aisle together at the beginning of the ceremony to me playing ‘If You Were A Sailboat’ by Katie Melua, all the guests blew bubbles and it was really cute and magical. Other requested songs included LOVE by Nat King Cole and Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder, My Baby Just Cares For Me by Nina Simone. The scenery at Fangar is breathtaking and it has a really nice old, rustic Mallorquin charm I really love it.
